Since 1996, Castech is accredited to the international quality standards of ISO-9001:2008. We are also certified to the norms of Lloyd's Register as a manufacturer of castings in carbon steel, carbonmanganese steel and alloy steel.
Since 2009, Castech is accredited to the international norm of commercial safety exchange C-TPAT.
Since 2010, Castech is accredited for developpement of standards for the design, construction and operational maintenance of marine-related facilities. ABS.
Also, our welding procedures that are required for the fabrication of castings are certified as per the norms of the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
Our complete metallurgical laboratory allows to completely verify all chemical, physical and metallurgical properties of all the ferrous alloys that are produced by Castech:
- Complete spectrographic analysis
- Mechanical Traction testing
- Mechanical Impact testing
- Metallography with pictures
Finally, Castech offers a complete service of non-destructive testing:
- Liquid penetrant (LPI)
- Magnetic Particules (MPI)
- Ultrasounds (UT)
- Radiography (RT)
It should be noted that, in the majority of the cases, all castings produced by Castech, have individual and unique serial number that allows tracking of all pertinent information related to their properties and their production.
