Castech Steel
Castech commonly manufactures the following types of steels:
- ASTM A-27, A-216 and A-352 carbon steels
- ASTM A-148, chrome-molybdenum and chrome-nickel-molybdenum alloys
- All grades of ASTM A-128 austenitic steel
- High-chrome-content iron castings
- Other customized alloys
Our
foundry uses a no-bake sand system with an electric arc furnace.
Casting weights range from 100 lbs to 15,000 lbs (50 kg
to 6,400 kg).
NEW EQUIPMENT
In addition of an 11-ton capacity electric arc furnace, Castech also has a 3000 lbs capacity furnace. With this high capacity equipment, Castech can now offer complete selection of ferrous metal for the production of cast parts.

- Carbon steels (ex : ASTM A-27, A-216, A-352)
- Alloy steels (ex : ASTM A-148)
- Chrome-Molly & Nickel-Chrome-Molly steels
- Manganese steels of all grades (ASTM –128)
- Stainless steels (C >= 0.08%)
- High Chrome and Ni-Hard cast irons
- Alloy, Ductile and Grey Cast Irons
Capacity from 1 lbs to 1,800 lbs of net weight :
- Specialized irons – Heat resistant
- Specialized irons – Abrasion resistant
- Stainless steels (C >= 0.03%)
